
Nicola Magri works for the Competitiveness, Technology and Innovation Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), based in Haiti, in charge of developing projects on innovation and entrepreneurship. In Haiti, he recently coordinated the event “Haiti Entreprendre – The future starts now” which brought together entrepreneurs and private sector representatives from all over the country to discuss about entrepreneurship. Prior to this appointment in Haiti, Nicola worked for the Central American Department of the IDB.
Prior to the IDB, Nicola worked for the World Bank, supporting projects on entrepreneurship in Jamaica and Pakistan (including the preparation of the Digital Youth Summit 2015), and was CFO and co-founder of BizStride, a boutique consulting company specialized in strategic communication and social media.
Nicola holds a BSc. in Political Science, an MSc. In Public Policy and Human Development and loves cooking and scuba diving.
