
Khurram Zafar is currently serving as the founding Executive Director of LUMS Center forEntrepreneurship and Managing Director of 47 Ventures, first international venture capital fundexclusively focused on Pakistan. He also serves on the Board at Karandaaz Pakistan, a SpecialPurpose Funding Vehicle created to improve access to capital for SMEs and enhance digitalfinancial inclusion in Pakistan. Khurram is an Industry Advisor to Punjab Revenue Authority andis also a Member of Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab as well as Member ofPunjab Agriculture Commission. Previously, he worked as the CIO at Lahore Stock Exchangewhere he was recognized as the Best Private Sector CIO of Pakistan.
Khurram has co-founded two product companies in the Silicon Valley and has been part of thefounding team of 2 global consulting firms. He has also consulted for Visa, Bank of America,CheckFree, Merrill Lynch, and several other Fortune 500 and venture-funded companies invarying consulting capacities. Khurram is an angel investor with an interest in the technologyand agriculture sector and has been an adviser to several Venture Capital firms in the UnitedStates and local investors, as well as startups, in Pakistan.
Khurram has been published by Prentice Hall as well as several local and internationalnewspapers and online blog publications. He is also a progressive farmer, real estateowner/manager, and an avid investor in North American and Pakistani securities markets.
