Position: Digital Security Trainer at Digital Rights Foundation
Fatima A. Athar recently joined the Digital Rights Foundation to work at the intersection of technology and human rights--empowering individuals, organizations, and human rights defenders through digital security & privacy awareness and hands-on training. She brings an intersectional feminist perspective to the campaign for digital rights and aims to build a library of tools and training resources for all digital citizens. She believes digital rights, security, and privacy are fundamental to and potentially game-changing elements for individual, socioeconomic, and political emancipation in the 21st century.
