Position: Founder and CEO Sarmayacar
Rabeel is the Founder / CEO of Sarmayacar – an investor syndicate providing early stage capital to startups in Pakistan – and a Vice President in the private equity division of GIC - a sovereign wealth fund that manages Singapore’s foreign reserves. Rabeel has directed well over a billion US dollars in investment across technology, financial and business services, healthcare, and energy sectors.
Prior to joining GIC, Rabeel worked in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley where he advised governments and large corporations on mergers and acquisitions.
Rabeel graduated from MIT, and is based in London, UK.
