Imran Ghazali is currently working as Head of Digital Campaigning at Alif Ailaan, which is a campaign for the transformation of education system in Pakistan.
Previously Ghazali has worked at M&C Saatchi as Chief Digital Officer where he worked on digital strategy and business development. He has also worked at Adcom as Director Business, Digital. He successfully led the Social Media campaign for PTI during 2013 elections. He built the team structure, initiated, planned, strategized and executed the digital campaign - which is termed as the most successful social media campaign in Pakistan’s political history.
Imran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration for Ohio State University (USA). He was one of the initial administrators of insaf.pk (PTI's Official Website) and was one of the pioneers of PTI's Facebook and Twitter accounts. PTI's online domination in Pakistan can be accredited to Social Media and Imran was one of the leading forces behind the Social Media propagation of party's message.
To address the issue of abuse, Imran has led an initiative to verify all Facebook Pages and Twitter Accounts belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf. Imran has also served as an advisor for majority of the PTI Leadership's Social Media accounts, including Chairman Imran Khan.
His strengths include digital strategy, digital planning, online PR, global team building and live events coverage on social media platforms.
Imran is also a running enthusiast and is currently doing a 50 days running challenge.
